बहुत समय पहले की बात है एक जंगल में एक कुत्ता रहता था । वह कुत्ता बहुत लालची था जो भी चीज उसके पास होती थी वह कभी भी उससे संतुष्ट नहीं होता था ।
एक दिन कुत्ते को बहुत अधिक भूख लगी हुई थी और वह भोजन की तलाश में इधर उधर भटक रहा था । बहुत मेहनत के बाद कुत्ते को एक हड्डी प्राप्त हुई ।
कुत्ते ने वह हड्डी अपने मुंह में रखी और उसे खाने के लिए एक एकांत स्थान की तलाश में निकल पड़ा । रास्ते में जाते हुए जब कुत्ता एक पुल के ऊपर से गुजर रहा था तो उसे पुल के नीचे पानी में अपनी परछाई दिखाई दी ।

परछाई को देखकर कुत्ते को लगा कि यह कोई अन्य कुत्ता है जिसके पास भी एक हड्डी है । देख कर कुत्ते का लालच जाग नया । इसलिए वह कुत्ता परछाई में दिख रहे दूसरे कुत्ते से भी हड्डी छीनने की सोचने लगा।
इसलिए कुत्ते ने लालच के कारण भौंकना शुरू कर दिया । जैसे ही कुत्ते ने भौंकना शुरू किया उसके मुंह से हड्डी पानी में गिर गई । इस प्रकार कुत्ते के पास जो खाने का भोजन था वह भी उसने अपने लालच के कारण खो दिया । हड्डी के पानी में गिर जाने के बाद कुत्ते को बहुत पछतावा हुआ और उस दिन उसे अपने लालच के कारण भूखे ही रहना पड़ा ।

एक जंगलात एक कुत्ता कायम होती. वह कुत्ता बहुत लालची था जो भीशीस पास होती तो कधीच समाधानी नव्हता.
एक दिवस कुत्तेला अधिक भूख लगी होती आणि त्याच्या भोजनाच्या शोधात इधर उधर भटक रहा था. बहुत मेहनत के बाद कुत्ते को एक हड्डी प्राप्त झाली.
कुत्ते ने त्याने हड्डी आपल्या मुंहात ठेवली आणि त्याला खाण्यासाठी एका स्थानाची जागा निघाली. मार्गात जातो तेव्हा कुत्ता एक पुल के वरती गुजर रहातो तो त्याच्या पुलाच्या खाली तुमचा परछाई दिसत होता.
परछाई को देखकर कुत्ते को लगा कि यह अन्य कुत्ता है पास भी एक हड्डी है. देख कर कुत्ते का लालच जागा नया । तो कुत्ते से भी हड्डी छीनने की सोचने लगा.
म्हणून कुत्ते ने लालच के कारण भौंकना सुरु केली. जैसे ही कुत्ते ने भौंकना सुरु केले त्याच्या मुंह से हड्डी पानी में गिर गई. हा प्रकार कुत्ते के पास जो खानाचा भोजन होता तो तिने आपल्या लालच के कारण खोला आहे. हड्डी के पानी में गिर जाने के बाद कुत्ते को बहुत पछतावा झाला आणि उस दिन त्याला तुमची लालच कारण भूखे ही रहनाद.
शिक्षा- लालच बुरी बला आहे ।
Story of Greedy Dog with Moral
A long time ago, a dog lived in a forest. That dog was very greedy and was never satisfied with anything he had.

The dog put that bone in its mouth and went in search of a secluded place to eat it. On his way, when the dog was passing over a bridge, he saw his reflection in the water below the bridge.

After the bone fell into the water, the dog felt very sorry and that day he had to stay hungry because of his greed.
